A Tribute to Brenda Huang, President Emeritus of ForeverGreen Worldwide
We are deeply saddened by the death of our beloved
ForeverGreen President, Brenda Huang. After a brave battle, Brenda
passed away peacefully on Sunday, April 17.
Brenda was kindhearted, beautiful, loving and touched
the lives of the many people who were lucky enough to meet her. While
Brenda is no longer with us, her memories and spirit will always remain
with us. #BrendaStrong
Please read below for a tribute letter about Brenda from Ron Williams.
I knew right out of the gates that Brenda was special, brilliant and very progressive in business. I have never met anyone that could see the cause and effect in real time the way that Brenda did. I think she just tolerated the rest of us so that we could only catch up to her. Yes, she was patient, even long suffering, working with the rest of us. However, the greatest experience was witnessing her personal growth over 12 years while at ForeverGreen. I watched her evolve from a very matter-of-fact business woman to a world leader, an ambassador and living proof of the ForeverGreen message.
I have so many fond memories from long layovers, loud laughter, eating her packed lunches when she was not looking, to her love and compassion for Maron. I have hugged Brenda at least a thousand times. There was something about our relationship, where the lines were never in question. We never needed to discuss it, the energy just was and it was beautiful.
ForeverGreen planted itself into the future from
day one. With that came many risks and timely challenges. One of those
risks was losing good personnel as we stood and honored the test as it
pertained to our vision. Of course, many companies came calling.
Everyone wanted Brenda; this beautiful, brilliant woman that was an
expert in our industry and spoke six to seven languages to boot. They
offered to double her pay, percentages of sales, even equity in
start-ups. Not Brenda; she chose to be in surrender to a vision bigger
than all of us. I am shaken by this thought as God knows the challenges
we have endured together. I am also happy to announce that Brenda leaves
equity in ForeverGreen to her beautiful family in which I intend to see
through its benefits and rewards.
On a very personal note, I thought I was prepared for her
passing, but I was wrong. I never knew my aunts, uncles, grandparents,
etc. so in actuality I have never had any one close to me pass. Brenda
is my first. I spoke to her four days ago and it was another re-run of a
thousand calls before. There was nothing different other than her life
was in the balance. She asked for my advice and I told her to live every
second the same way she has always lived. We had scheduled for me to
fly to Taiwan and chaperon her back to ForeverGreen so she could say her
goodbyes to her precious and prized ForeverGreen family. The next day
her doctor ruled out that idea. I am happy to say that Brenda chose to
live in the way that only Brenda could. I am also happy to say that
ForeverGreen was there for her and her family until her last earthly
breath. Live or die, that’s how we roll, family is first and Brenda was
and continues to be the matriarch of ForeverGreen. Today, all that
matters to me are the things that really count, and that is love, family
and relationships.Brenda’s passing may instill fear or anxiety in many of us as we measure how much of our time is spent on nonsense. Greed, power, jealousy, hate, things of carnal nature that eventually separate us from our divinity. All of which remind me to declare my faith in our creator. There are too many perfect and unexplainable elements on this planet to ever be in question. Things like gravity, rainbows and their divine colors, talents, love, intimacy and for God’s sake…CHILDREN. If a child does not reveal God then nothing does or ever will.
Brenda did not resist her fate; she embraced it in the same way she embraced all matters. In spite of her pain, invasive surgeries and medications, she was actually at peace and in a great place. She was flat-out sharp. She asked me to express to all how her encounter with ForeverGreen not only prepared her for life but for her death as well. Her feathers remained gracefully intact. She is a hero and an inspiration to us all on how to live. She is and always will be President Emeritus of ForeverGreen Worldwide.
To me this means there really is no need to compartmentalize any area of our lives and that in all situations, we get to only choose the things that matter most. I will always love and miss you, Brenda. Thank you again for showing me, and all of us, our next.”
